Beet Apple Lime & Cayenne

Beet Apple Lime Cayenne is one of my favorite energy drinks! Traditionally, beets are valued for their support in detoxification and helping to purify your blood and your liver. I find it increases my stamina while exercising. 



















I have since learned that it is believed that the naturally occurring nitrates in beets, which are converted into nitric oxide in the body, may reduce the oxygen cost of low-intensity exercise as well as enhance tolerance to high-intensity exercise. Nitric oxide also helps to relax and dilate your blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure. One study found that drinking one glass of beet juice lowered systolic blood pressure by an average of 4-5 points, and that was just in a matter of hours. Helping to ward off some forms of cancer are the powerful phytonutrients found in beets, that also give them their deep crimson color. It is no coincidence that their color so closely mimics the color of our life's blood. It is the "heart beet" of this drink!
